Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Dentanaut platform. These Terms govern your access to and use of our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Dentanaut platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "User") and Dentanaut Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Dentanaut", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Description of Service

Dentanaut provides a cloud-based dental practice management platform that includes AI-assisted X-ray analysis, patient record management, appointment scheduling, post-care communication tools, and related features ("Service").

The Service is intended solely for use by licensed dental professionals and their authorized staff. Use of the Service for any other purpose is not permitted.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration • Maintain and promptly update your account information • Keep your password secure and confidential • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old and a licensed dental professional (or authorized staff of a dental practice) to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent content • Violate any applicable laws, including India's DPDPA, IT Act, or Medical Council regulations • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service • Impersonate any person or entity • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

5. Patient Data & Clinical Responsibility

You, as the dental professional, are solely responsible for:

• Obtaining appropriate informed consent from patients before entering their data • Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of clinical data entered into the platform • All clinical decisions made in connection with, or informed by, the Service • Compliance with applicable laws regarding patient records and data protection

Dentanaut is a decision-support tool and does not provide medical advice. AI-generated analysis is provided for informational purposes only and must be reviewed and validated by a licensed dental professional before acting upon it. Dentanaut is not responsible for clinical outcomes.

6. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and exclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day refund for annual subscriptions if you cancel within 7 days of the billing date. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable.

Non-payment: Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account. You will be given 7 days' notice before any such action.

Changes to Pricing: We may change our pricing at any time. Changes will be notified 30 days in advance for existing subscribers.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, AI models, and content (excluding patient data entered by users), is owned by Dentanaut Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your practice during the term of your subscription. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

8. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all patient data and clinical records you enter into the platform. Dentanaut processes this data solely on your behalf to provide the Service.

Upon account termination, you may export your data in a standard format. After a 30-day grace period, data may be permanently deleted. Dentanaut will not use patient data for training AI models without your explicit, separately obtained consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dentanaut shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Dentanaut in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings. Termination does not entitle you to any refund except as set out in Section 6.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to you by email and/or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance.
